Rehearsal - September, Show dates - October 2026 | Unpaid Internship Write Act Repertory is a volunteer non-profit theatre company in North Hollywood focused on developing original work and creating opportunities for writers, actors, directors, designers, and other theatre artists. We are seeking production interns for Cringe Fest 2026, for our showcase of original one-act plays at the Brickhouse Theatre during the month of October. Interns should be available during September for table readings and rehearsals, if possible. Technical Theatre Intern — Lights & Sound Run lighting and sound for all shows and assist with setup, programming, technical rehearsals, and troubleshooting. You would be trained on very simple operation of the equipment. Stage Management Intern Assist with rehearsals, production communication / calendar, cues, props, backstage organization, and performance operations. Set & Props Intern Help source, build, organize, and maintain props, scenic elements, and set dressing for the three productions. Interns will also participate in pre-production, meetings and rehearsals leading up to the festival. Tech / Performance Dates: Theater Availability on Fridays – Sundays Only

Tech / Rehearsal weekend - October 2, 3, 4

Dress / Performances scheduled - October 9, 10, 11 & 16, 17, 18, & 23, 24, 25 We are looking for dependable, collaborative applicants interested in gaining hands-on experience in theatre production. Students, recent graduates, and emerging theatre or film professionals are encouraged to apply.
