Seeking Production Stage Manager for Upcoming Outdoor Season - Pleasant Valley Productions

Pleasant Valley Productions is looking to hire a stage manager for our 2021 Season from April – August- Salary $6,000.00 (paid monthly $1200.00)

See schedule below – 4-6 high school rental weeks, 2 dance rental weekends, 1 workshop presentation, 1 staged reading, 1 mainstage musical, 4 one night only performance events

Stage Manager/Production Manager- this role will be performed by a candidate who has experience in both stage management and production management. Some knowledge of audio and lighting production is preferred. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Working closely with the house technical director and artistic director to ensure:

-The venue is prepped and ready for each event

-The venue is opened and closed securely.

-The onstage event staff is confirmed (Audio and lighting personnel, crew members)

-The COVID 19 guidelines are followed

-The Stage manager will also be responsible for following a calendar of events and maintaining deadlines.

-The Stage manager will assist the artists on performance days

-The Stage manager will act as production stage manager for the PVP mainstage musical which will rehearse May and June with tech and performances mid July. Responsibilities to include managing communication to the cast and staff, reporting to the producer and artistic director via rehearsal reports, coordinating load in and tech rehearsal schedules with the staff and cast, supervising and coaching a student as part of our protégé program.

-The Stage manager will report to the producer and artistic director.

-The Stage manager will be on site to assist the rental groups. Rental groups may provide their own student stage managers but the PVP stage manager will oversee.
