Parallax Cold Reading: Self-Tape

Manic Mirror Productions is seeking multiple actors for a cold reading of Parallax, a one-act sci-fi play previously featured in the Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest (2022). Expect a casual read-through of the script and complimentary refreshments. The reading will be scheduled in Orlando on Sunday, May 14th, at 4pm. To audition, use the linked google form to provide your contact info and a one-minute monologue. *This play features LGBT+ themes, only submit if you are comfortable portraying a queer character ROLES:

Simon Ebbott, male. 20-30 y/o. An intimidating scientist.

Harmon, male. 18-24 y/o. Impulsive, optimistic, and naive.

K-Rex, any gender. 20-30 y/o. Hot-headed pop star.

Dixie Coleman, female. 18+ to play 16 y/o. An innocent people-pleaser.
