Qualifications & Qualities:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Foundational experience in coordinating and executing operational plans.
- Foundational experience in copywriting, editing, and proofing.
- Foundational experience in utilizing social media platforms for marketing and public relation purposes.
- Moderate experience in a management position, with data analysis, budgeting, strategic planning, and reporting duties.
- Moderate creative experience in strategic planning and artistic aesthetic, both mainstream and out-of-the box thinking.
- Moderate to advanced experience working and collaborating in an administrative setting, working with multiple departments/partnerships.
- Foundational experience working with all levels of staff in an organization.
- Foundational experience incorporating Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion values into a marketing strategic plan.
- Demonstrated passion for the value of training and skills building through theater tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Foundational experience in customer service and/or sales.
- Foundational experience as a supervisor or mentor.
- Foundational experience marketing to different communities simultaneously; (artists, hobbies, parents, and corporations.)
- Foundational experience working with design and editing programs, such as Canva, Clipchamp or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Foundational experience working with external stakeholders; from patrons to the Board of Directors.
- Moderate experience working with CRM programs; specifically, Tessitura or Submittable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal/EQ skills, including negotiation and diplomacy.
- Strong ability to both problem-solve, as well as recognize the need for assistance.
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel).
- General knowledge of marketing and communications vocabulary and strategic concepts.
- Demonstrated skill in understanding of cultural differences.
- Thorough knowledge of performing arts-based production, training, and artistry process.
- General ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with A.C.T. colleagues and stakeholders.
- Thorough forward-thinking organization skills.
- Open communicator, with a growing self-awareness on articulating needs, and monitoring expectations.
- Displayed alignment with A.C.T.’s Mission, Values and commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
- Preferred – Basic knowledge of the national market for advanced actor training.
- Preferred – Basic knowledge of the Bay Area market for in-person creative learning.
- Preferred – Have a valid driver’s license.
