Daniel: Male-identified, young adult. Light Skinned. Ti Moune’s love interest. Strong tenor or baritenor. TonTon Julian: Male-Identified, middle aged. Dark Skinned. Ti Moune’s adoptive father. Strong baritone. Papa Ge: Any Gender, any age. God of death. Strong baritenor or mezzo. Asaka: Any Gender, any age. Goddess of the Earth. Strong mezzo belt. Erzulie: Any Gender, any age. Goddess of love. strong soprano. Agwe: Any Gender, any age. God of water. Strong baritone/bass. Andrea: Female-Identified, young adult. Light skinned. Daniel’s betrothed. Strong mezzo. Monsieur Beauxhomme/Armand: Male-Identified, middle aged. Light skinned. Daniel’s father. also plays Armand, the ancestor. Strong baritone. Little Ti Moune: Female-identified, child. Dark Skinned. The younger version of Ti Moune; also plays the child for whom the story is told. Strong singer. Storytellers: Ensemble. Will also act as Swings for various roles. Compensation: Actors will receive a $1,200 stipend for 3 weeks of work. Actors are contracted with a 1099. Housing: Housing is available for artists who live further than 50 miles away from Natick, MA. Contract Dates: Full Contract runs July 15-August 4th Rehearsals: July 15–30 in Natick, MA Performances (6 in total) run August 1st-4th at the Keiter Center for the Performing Arts in Natick, MA.
