Artist Series to Present BROADWAY ROX at Moran Theater, 2/1
BROADWAY ROX, the new live concert experience that celebrates your favorite hits from over 20 of the most iconic Broadway musicals, plays at Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater for one performance only on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 8PM.
BROADWAY ROX features the contemporary musicals of Broadway from the pop and rock genres, bridging the gap between traditional Broadway musicals and a full-blown Rock Show. The visually amazing production is comprised of six of the hottest performers on Broadway and a five-piece band. Those familiar with GLEE and SMASH will love the awesome mash-ups of their favorite Broadway songs, as BROADWAY ROX celebrates youth, energy, humor, and great music.
Enjoy hits from Wicked , Mamma Mia Jersey Boys, Rent, The Who's Tommy, Hair, Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ Superstar, and many more! BROADWAY ROX features a thrilling five-piece band and brand new exciting musical arrangements created by Broadway composer and musical director, Jason Howland (Little Women, Jekyll & Hyde, Flashdance). BROADWAY ROX is supported by exciting video projections and has a cast of six Broadway stars and recording artists that will have you dancing in the aisles.

The Musical, ANN at Lincoln Center) and Thom Schilling (Les Miserables, Fosse, The American Dance Machine). BROADWAY ROX is directed by Rob Evan and Rich Affannato.
