New Stage Theatre will present BABY DOLL October 24-November 5, 2017. Baby Doll is directed by Rus Blackwell. Rus has an extensive resume' in Film, TV and Theatre. His most recent notable credits include Gordon Hopewell on the Cinemax series Banshee and Commander Lee Atkins on A&E's SIX. He also played C.P. Ellis in this year's production of Best of Enemies.

"Baby Doll is a late addition to the current season and New Stage is proud to accept this amazing opportunity," says New Stage artistic director Francine Reynolds. "Baby Doll has only been produced by three other American theatres and the licensing at this time is very limited. We did not want to pass up this chance to bring a new adaptation to our audiences. Branded as a dark comedy as well as a drama, there is much humor and sensuality in the play. The programming of Baby Doll balances out our 52nd season of great storytelling in an exceptional way. Audiences won't want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of this daring and sensuous Southeastern Premiere."
