Scirocco: Death in Venice – Bridge of Sighs marks the world premiere of WINNDance, a new international dance company founded and directed by former principal dancers Marijn Rademaker and Slava Tutukin. The company brings together an ensemble of renowned ballet dancers aged 40 and above, including New York-born Nora Kimball, challenging conventional notions of age in the dance industry. Choreographers John Neumeier, Imre and Marne van Opstal, and Omar Román de Jesús collaborate on the production, with costumes created in partnership with BOSS. The world premiere takes place at Teatro Malibran in Venice as part of La Biennale di Venezia, followed by an international tour.
