Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is presented on a 60ft HD screen alongside a live performance of Howard Shore's Academy Award-winning score, performed by over 200 musicians and singers. The London performances at The O2 are the largest staging of this production ever presented in the UK, featuring conductor Ludwig Wicki, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Crouch End Festival Chorus, and Trinity Boys Choir. The film follows Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), a hobbit enlisted by the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to undertake an epic quest to save Middle-earth. This marks the 25th anniversary of the film's original release in 2001.
