Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is presented on a 60ft HD screen alongside a live performance of Howard Shore's Academy Award-winning score, performed by over 200 musicians and singers. The Dublin performance features the RTE Concert Orchestra and Dun Laoghaire Choral Society. The film follows Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), a hobbit enlisted by the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to undertake an epic quest to save Middle-earth. This marks the 25th anniversary of the film's original release in 2001.
