‘Hopeless, helpless, in-the-way person’
Silent is the touching and challenging story of homeless McGoldrig, who once had splendid things.
But he has lost it all – including his mind. He now dives into the wonderful wounds of this past through the romantic world of Rudolph Valentino.
Fishamble return to the Abbey Theatre with this theatrical, beautiful production that delves into the dark corners of the Irish psyche.
The Abbey Theatre is delighted to welcome Fishamble’s Silent onto the Peacock stage following its 2011 national Irish tour and performances in Paris and Edinburgh. During its run at Dancebase for the Edinburgh Fringe, Fishamble and Pat Kinevane won both Fringe First and Herald Angel awards.
