Cú Chulainn is a new opera by Éadaoin O'Donoghue and John O'Brien, presented by The Everyman and Cork Opera House as a rehearsed reading concert performance. A sequel to the five-star 2022 opera Morrígan, this work draws on the characters of the Táin to explore the story of Cú Chulainn and Ferdia, the intricacies of Queen Medb's court, and the demise of Conor Mac Nessa. The cast includes Niamh O'Sullivan, Rory Dunne, Gavan Ring, Ronald Samm, Rachel Croash, Brendan Collins, Gráinne Gillis, Viktor Priebe, and Liv Victa, accompanied by The Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra conducted by John O'Brien.
