The Haunting, starring Paul Nicholas and CHARLIE CLEMENTS, is a gripping thriller from the literary master of suspense Charles Dickens. Opening in the Gaiety Theatre on March 7, it is a thrilling stage play based on some of Dickens' most spine-tingling tales of the unexpected.Paul Nicholas' BAFTA nominated role of Vince Pinner in the classic sitcom Just Good Friends was a key chapter in a career that has successfully covered the full dramatic range. He went on to rule the roost in the West End across the 90's taking lead roles in a number of classic productions including Barnum, The Mysterious Mr Love and Catch Me If You Can, in addition to producing and starring in the all time hit musical Singin' in the Rain. He is joined by one of TV's hottest young stars, Charlie Clements. Charlie is best known for playing the role of Bradley Branning in EastEnders;joining the show in 2006, he won numerous awards for his performance. His dramatic death was the finale of the 25th anniversary live episode in February 2010, drawing audience viewing figures of nearly 17 million people.
The Haunting is directed by HUGH WOOLDRIDGE with designs by SIMON SCULLION. It is written by HUGH JANES with original music by LAURA TISDALL. JONATHAN LIPMAN is the costume designer and Nick Richings is the lighting designer.
