Photo Flash: First Look at Opening Night ICAD 2016
Design+Art Indonesia is a foundation formed by a group of designers with variety of background knowledge and experience. The Foundation was established with the aim to be able to participate in creative industry development in Indonesia, which relies on the strength of human resources and the wealth of Indonesia's art & culture.
This month, Design+Art Indonesia Foundation returned with Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design (ICAD) Festival.
The annual ICAD has come to their 7th year, the first time was in 2009. ICAD is a huge exhibition on collaborative design, arts, technology, entertainment and hospitality industry who is also raised the Indonesian heritage. This activity is also a manifestation of the first in Indonesia- collaborative idea between disciplines.
This year, ICAD will present larger and more extensive, involving collaboration with a diverse creative actors' group and cultural centers. Located in grandkemang Hotel Jakarta as the main location, ICAD 2016 carries the theme 'Seven Scenes'. ICAD will run for two months from October 7 to December 7, 2016.
ICAD 2016 will feature seven collaborative projects, contemporary fashion installation, creative products in the Artists' Merchandises zone and Special Appearance works.
ICAD 2016 supported by Badan Ekonomi Kreatif Indonesia (Bekraf), Artura Insanindo, Mesa Hotel and Resorts, and grandkemang Hotel Jakarta.
