Gerda's best friend Kai has changed. Where he was once sweet and kind, he has turned cruel and controlling. Just as Gerda discovers the enchantment that has caused this change, Kai is stolen away by the mysterious Snow Queen. Gerda embarks on an epic quest for friendship, escaping a witch's trap and travelling to the furthest reaches of the North with her new friends, a crow and an energetic princess.
Based on the Hans Christian Anderson tale that inspired Disney's Frozen, The Snow Queen is a story of courage, friendship, and growing up. This entertaining and thought-provoking one-act play is appropriate for all ages.
The Drama Studio is a theatre company based in Clarksville, IN, that presents relevant theatre in an intimate setting. By producing original adaptations of classic stories, TDS creates entertaining and thought-provoking shows that are appropriate for all ages.
