The Cabaret at The Columbia Club Announces Changes in Lineup: Jonathan Groff, Susan Egan and More

The Cabaret announces several changes to the fall season lineup. Tony Award winning Broadway and Disney star Susan Egan will replace Laura Benanti for the 2012 fundraiser; Glee & Spring Awakening's Jonathan Groff will replace Gavin Creel; and local performer Brenda Williams will replace Everett Greene in the holiday show "Martinis and Mistletoe."

"When you hire top talent, they sometimes get offers they simply can't refuse, says Shannon Forsell, Managing and Artistic Director of the Cabaret.  "Gavin Creel has been hired to play the lead in the national tour of The Book of Mormon, and Laura Benanti is working on a pilot of for NBC. We are thrilled for them and have replaced them with performers that we feel are equally exciting."              

            1. September 29 – Susan Egan: The Belle of Broadway

            2. October 13 – An Evening with Jonathan Groff

            3. December 12, 13, 14, 15 – Martinis and Mistletoe featuring Shannon    

                   Forsell, Brenda Williams and the Buselli Wallarab Jazz Orchestra
