RANCHO MIRAGE Plays the Phoenix Theatre, Now thru 11/24
Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis presents the National New Play Network (NNPN) Rolling World Premiere of Steven Dietz's Rancho Mirage. Opening tonight, October 24, 2013 in the Frank and Katrina Basile Theatre at the Phoenix, this show runs through November 24, 2013 and will be directed by Phoenix Theatre Producing Director Bryan Fonseca.
Written by one of America's most widely-produced playwrights Steven Dietz, including Yankee Tavern - produced in 2010 by the Phoenix, Rancho Mirage began its Rolling World Premiere at Olney Theatre Center (Olney, MD), followed by New Rep (Watertown, MA), then at the Phoenix and ending at Curious Theatre (Denver).
Rancho Mirage is a bitingly funny black comedy about what happens when the fictions that hold our lives together are exposed. In Mr. Dietz's sharp and surprising sojourn into the psyche of 2013 America - where affluence is perhaps our greatest mirage - three couples, long-time friends, find themselves at a dinner party where everyone finally decides to tell the truth.
Tickets for Rancho Mirage are on sale now. The entire first weekend are CheapSeats performances, so tickets are just $18.00 per person. All performances after that are $28.00 per person. Tickets for Rancho Mirage may be purchased by calling the box office at 317.635.7529 or may be purchased online at phoenixtheatre.org.
