Legendary musical composer, producer and jazz trumpeter Quincy Jones will address Indiana University Bloomington graduates at the Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 8. Ceremonies for students receiving bachelor's degrees will be conducted at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. tomorrow at Assembly Hall. Each session will run about 90 minutes.
The ceremonies will be broadcast live via the IU Video-Link. Highlights of both ceremonies will be the commencement address and honorary degree award to Quincy Jones, the legendary musical composer, arranger, record and television producer, and jazz trumpeter. Doors for the morning will open at 8 a.m., and the procession of graduates will begin at 9:15 a.m. Doors for the afternoon ceremony will open at 1 p.m., and the procession will begin at 2:15 p.m.Photo by Greg Gorman
