Photo Flash: First Look - MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL Opens Tonight at Beef & Boards

By:

August heats up in a flash as Menopause, the Musical returns by popular demand to Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. This hilarious and fun celebration of women and "the change" is live on stage starting tonight, Aug. 25. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Written by Jeanie Linders, Menopause, the Musical is set in a department store, where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black bra meet by chance at a lingerie sale. The all-female cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats, sex drives and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created between these diverse women in this uplifting production that includes parodies from the '60s, '70s and '80s. It culminates with a salute to women who are experiencing "the change."

Beef & Boards' 2016 production of Menopause the Musical features an all-new cast! Making their debuts at the local dinner theatre are Teri Adams as the Iowa housewife, Donna J. Huntley as the professional woman, Ingrid Cole as the Earth mother, and Paula Kline-Messner as the soap star. The show is directed by Kim Simari, with Terry Woods as musical director and costumer.

Menopause, the Musical is on stage for 44 performances through Oct. 2 in the intimate space of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Tickets range from $41 to $66 and include Chef Odell Ward's dinner buffet and select beverages. Parking is always free. For reservations, call the box office at 317.872.9664 anytime between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays.
