Marilyn Maye to Perform at Feinstein's at Hotel Carmichael
The performance will take place on Thursday, September 3.
Marilyn Maye has been a frequent performer at Feinstein's/54 Below in New York, and is now coming to Feinstein's, inside The Hotel Carmichael in Carmel.
She is the ultimate entertainer and will take you back to the days of yesteryear with her commanding stage performance. Maye is still going strong at 97 years of age and still shines with her energy and expressive style.
Maye is known for her cabaret performances. She began her professional singing career at age 9. During her eleven-year engagement at the Colony in Kansas City, she was discovered by Steve Allen, the original host of “The Tonight Show”. He was the first to present her to a national television audience, which led her to an RCA recording contract.
"Heeeeeeeeeeeere's Marilyn!" Amazingly, Maye appeared 76 times on “The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson,”. She is a Grammy Award nominated recording artist and one of the greatest pop/jazz voices of her generation.
The performance will take place on Thursday, September 3. Doors open at 5:30 pm for dinner and drinks with the show starting at 7:30.
