Deb Mullins Presents STILL GOT THE BLUES FOR YOU 8/12-13

Featuring songs from the Delta to Broadway and Bessie Smith to Cassandra Wilson, Deb Mullins presents an evening of unique and soulful blues. Backed by some of Indiana's finest musicians, Mullins' delivery underlines the influence of the blues on decades of American jazz and other popular music styles.

ABOUT DEB MULLINS
Deb Mullins is a vocalist and entertainer with over 30 years experience on the stage, in radio and in the studio. Her work in Indianapolis ranges from the music festival circuit and local clubs to the theatre. She has been the musical director for productions at The Phoenix Theatre, Theatre on the Square and the Walker Theatre. Mullins was also the leader of the classic R & B band, The Deb Mullins Band, and currently is the leader of the jazz trio, Deb Mullins Trio. Deb produced her first CD project of original songs, Killed in Cold Love, with the Deb Mullins Band in 2001 and a second CD, Love is a Many Splintered Thing presented at Theatre On The Square, her one-woman show in early 2009. A third CD, Can't Live Without It was also recorded in 2009 and an upcoming CD Live! Bebop, Boogie and Blues is soon to be released.

The Cabaret is a professional, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of the Cabaret is to elevate the cabaret art form; attract, develop and retain high-quality local performance talent; and provide a unique and important contribution to the city's artistic and cultural life.

The Columbia Club is the premiere private city club in Indianapolis, located in the heart of downtown on Monument Circle. Established in 1889, the nonprofit Columbia Club provides opportunities for business networking and social connections among its diverse membership. The beautiful Clubhouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features fine and casual dining, catering and meeting facilities, 96 guest rooms and a complete fitness center.
The Columbia Club Foundation is dedicated to the acquisition, preservation and exhibition of items of literary and artistic significance as well as the restoration, preservation and protection of the historic Clubhouse.
