Baz Luhrmann to Collaborate with Vincent Fantauzzo on Wall Mural at Le Sutra Hotel in Mumbai

IMDB News is reporting that film director Baz Lurhmann will collaborate with Australian artist Vincent Fantauzzo to paint a mural on the wall of Le Sutra Hotel in Mumbai, India.

Le Sutra is regarded as India's first art hotel. Rooms in the hotel were worked on by top designers to give each their own artistic flair.

Baz Lurhman's film credits include 'Strictly Ballroom', 'Romeo + Juliet', 'Moulin Rouge', and 'Australia'. He has directed various stage productions including 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', 'Lake Lost', 'Crocodile Creek', and a staged adaptation of 'Strictly Ballroom'. Luhrmann also directed a Broadway production of 'La Boheme' in 2002.

Vincent Fantauzzo is an Australian artist who painted a portrait of his friend, the late Heath Ledger in 2007. For his work, he won the Archibald Art Prize.
