Mathemagician is an engaging story that dwells into contrasts to tell us a story that is relatable and humane in so many ways.

in 500CE Babylon, the play traces the time when Babylon was the commercial centre of the ancient world. The play depicts the story of Nikor who was sold into slavery by his father. Nikor is apprenticed Greek Plautus, the Chief Economist of Babylon. With his incredible talent in mathematics and stagecraft, Nikor is able to earn himself the title of the state's Chief Mathematician, Accountant General and Keeper of the Seal.

However the viewers get to see an alternate side of Nikor when Salla comes into picture. Who is Salla, what does he mean to Nikor?
