Theatre Suburbia kicks off its 59th holiday season with The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomens Guild Dramatic Societys Production of A Christmas Carol, by David McGillvray and Walter Zerlin, Jr.Several F.A.H.E.T.G.D.S. classics have graced Theatre Suburbias stage, but their version of A Christmas Carol remains one the audiences favorites as the always-embattled Mrs. Reese and Thelma co-chair the reigns.Be ready with your hankies and Depends as Mrs. Reese engineers some novel audience participation, while bravely contending with a chattily intrusive PA system. Bringing the production to life are actors Janye Anderson as Mrs. Reece, Jennifer Prior as Thelma, Peggy Butler as Mercedes, Laura Schlecht as Felicity, and Ray Kroulik as Gordon. Adding to the festivities will be two specially-composed songs accompanied on stage by pianist and music director, Patti Lozano.
