Jef Johnson brings his spontaneous play, OPEN SPACE, back for two nights only!
By invitation of Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company, Native Houstonian Jef Johnson brings his spontaneous play, OPEN SPACE, back for two nights only!
Mildred's Umbrella is happy to host this unique and playful evening with one of the world's most renowned fools. Known the world over for his "anything can happen" free style of play, this clown philosopher has performed in Slava's Snowshow on Broadway and Internationally. He is Consultant and Master Faculty at L'Auguste Studio in Montreal and Nouveau Clown Institute in Europe.
About his latest work OPEN SPACE, Jef says: "This is an exploration into the state of the present. Encounter the space, the attention of the audience, details, anything at all and see what emerges. What is it going to be about? I am not sure until it is happening. The one thing I know for sure is that we are in it together.”
Absurd, spontaneous, fun, this very unique and special performance is not to be missed!
( Not recommended for children under the age of 12. )
