A. D. Players Children's Theater to Present THE PASS-IT-ON CHRISTMAS, 11/26-12/21
A. D. Players will present The Pass-It-On Christmas, by Will Ledesma in its Children's Theater, previewing November 26th, opening November 27th, and running through December 21st.
"Christmas is a time of busyness," noted Director Kevin Dean, "but we need to makes sure we don't get so caught up in the busyness that we forget what Christmas is really about. I hope families will make time to come celebrate the good news of the birth of Jesus with us."
The Pass-It-On Christmas tells of wonderful news in the air - the Son of God is born! Follow a zany troupe of actors as they recount the adventures of a shepherd boy and his lamb crossing the countryside, passing on the news that Jesus is born. A touching comedy, this show reminds us that everyone can tell someone about the miracle of Immanuel: God is with us!
The production team for The Pass-It-On Christmas includes Mark A. Lewis (Set and Lighting Design), Donna Southern Schmidt (Costume Design), Trisha Wise (Properties Design), and guest designer Orlando Arriaga (Sound Design).
The cast includes A. D. Players' resident actors Travis Hayes, Kelsey Cratty, and Megan Jackson, all of whom play a variety of roles.
SHOWTIMES: The Pass-It-On Christmas runs November 26 - December 21, 2013.
Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 10:30am with 1:00pm performances on 11/30 and 12/7. Additional 1:00p performances are available upon request for school groups. The Pass-It-On Christmas previews on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:00pm.
