Everyone deserves an arts-filled life.

The Broadway Education Alliance (BEA) is dedicated to giving kids access – to information, people, and experiences that will help inform and inspire them in their formative years through the theater and the performing arts. Nurturing artists and building audiences begins in classrooms, after-school programs, and summer camps—places where kids find their voices, build their confidence, and discover their love for the stage.

Many of these spaces are at risk. BEA works to ensure that education and enrichment programs such as The Roger Rees Awards, Camp Broadway, and more can stand strong.

This Giving Tuesday, we hope that you’ll support BEA in our mission. Together, we can ensure that Broadway is accessible, relevant, and an aspirational destination for youth and families today and long into the future.

Broadway’s original summer camp returns! Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Camp Broadway is Broadway’s Original Destination for Theater-loving Kids and a Special Drama Desk Award winner that is trusted by parents and respected by educators. Since its inception over 50,000 children have enjoyed Camp Broadway’s camps, workshops and special performance events. Whether your child dreams of a Broadway career or just loves to perform, Camp Broadway offers a supportive, unforgettable experience that inspires young people to shine on stage and off.

Camp Broadway offers two age-appropriate sessions, both running July 13–17 in NYC. Mainstage is a five-full-day musical theater camp for ages 10–17—your child’s chance to step into the spotlight as part of a real Broadway ensemble. Guided by Broadway pros, campers build singing, dancing, and acting skills while rehearsing numbers from a beloved musical, culminating in a showcase on a professional stage. Shining Stars is a five-half-day camp for ages 7–9—perfect for “characters” with big imaginations. Kids enjoy group play, singing, movement, and basic design activities led by trained theater professionals, ending with a joyful Family Finale Showcase. No experience needed. Spaces are limited—reserve today!
