Abingdon Theatre Company will present a free reading of Camilla Carr's THE BLACK SWAN on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 7:30PM in the June Havoc Theatre, Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, 312 W. 36th Street, 1st floor (btwn 8th/9th Avenues.) Admission is FREE, no reservations required.

The cast will feature Stephen Bogardus, Heather Goldenhersh, Amy Madigan and Patricia Richardson.

Based on the novella by Thomas Mann. Rosalie Von Tummler's life in 1925, Düsseldorf, Germany, is turned upside down when her husband is killed forcing her to begin a new life for herself and her two children. Caught in the upheaval of politics and culture between world wars, Rosalie's affair with an American jazz musician asks her to risk everything for the20happiness she desires.
