Broadway Palm will be welcoming Andrew Lloyd Webber's fantastical musical CATS back to the stage now through November 23, 2013. One of the most successful musicals the world has ever seen, CATS has entertained more than 48 million people since its 1981 London premiere and worldwide box office revenues are estimated to exceed $2 billion.

The Broadway Palm stage has been transformed into a larger than life abandoned amusement park that is inhabited by a special breed of cats knows as Jellicle Cats. It's the night of the Jellicle Ball and the entire cat clan gathers for the annual event where the admired elder, Old Deuteronomy, will choose the most deserving cat to ascend with him for a heavenly reward and reclaim a new life. One by one, we learn about each cat's personalities and discover that cats are very much like people; unique in their own ways. The award-winning score includes The Jellicle Ball, Rum Tug Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees and Memory.

This production recently played at Broadway Palm's sister theatre, the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Pennsylvania, to rave reviews from theatre patrons and critics alike! The director and choreographer, Amy Marie McCleary, and the majority of the cast will be returning for Broadway Palm's production. This time around will be a bit different for McCleary as the last rehearsal process took place when she was eight months pregnant! She and her husband are now the proud parents of three-month old daughter, Grainne.

CATS is playing at Broadway Palm through November 23, 2013. Performances are Wednesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. Beginning in November, performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. Be sure to check out the upscale dinner theatre experience on Saturday nights. Ticket prices range from $35 to $58 and are now on sale. Reservations can be made by calling (239) 278-4422, by visiting www.BroadwayPalm.com or by stopping by the box office at 1380 Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.
