43. Kuopio Dance Festival will offer something exotic from India, contemporary dance from Brazil, ballet from Poland and the USA and premieres from Finland.
The programme of the Kuopio Dance Festival for the summer's main venue, Kuopio Music Center concert hall, has been confirmed.
The Festival will open with a collaboration piece by Artistic Director Jorma Uotinen and conductor Atso Almila - it is a premiere with the Kuopio City Orchestra playing the musical score, composed by Atso Almila, and choreographed by Jorma Uotinen
