Playwrights Horizons' Theatrical Fellowship Program offers paid, season-long (roughly September to June) fellowships at the Off-Broadway theater, including an Artistic & Literary Fellowship as well as stage management and other tracks. The Artistic & Literary Fellow helps run the script submission process, reads and evaluates scripts, maintains the script database and supports developmental readings and dramaturgical research for the New Works Lab, gaining direct exposure to the relationship between writers and institutions. Applications for the 2026/27 program closed March 30, 2026.
