The TMT Institute is Target Margin Theater's year-long fellowship for five artists from any discipline who have an established practice and want to radically question and disrupt it without a project or product as the goal. Fellows receive studio space, material resources and a $2,000 stipend, gather for three in-person intensives in Brooklyn plus monthly breakfasts and excursions, and share their explorations in an Open Studio weekend at season's end. Applications for the 2026-27 cohort closed July 22, 2026.
Five artists selected annually; multidisciplinary (directors among past fellows).
2025-26 fellows: Lanxing Fu, Ryan Gamblin, Emma Ladji, Christina Roussos, reid tang. Verified via press coverage rather than Target Margin's own site.
