Steppenwolf Workforce Development Program - Production Apprenticeships and BIPOC Fellowship

Steppenwolf Theatre Company's Workforce Development Program provides season-long paid apprenticeships for early-career professionals in both production/technical and administrative departments, giving participants a deep dive into a specific department alongside experienced staff. Apprentices earn $17.27 per hour for roughly 40 hours a week, are eligible for part-time dental, vision, paid sick time, and a pre-tax CTA transit card, and receive curated professional development seminars, mentorship, and free tickets. Applications for the 26/27 season are closed; the program has more than 500 alumni across its internship, apprenticeship, and fellowship history.
