Overview

The Seidel Fellowship at 1st Stage in Tysons, Virginia, is a six-month paid fellowship (25-30 hours per week, $1,700 monthly stipend) intended to develop emerging leaders in American theatre. Each fellowship is customized to the recipient and built around fellow-led projects mentored by senior staff, plus one-on-one meetings with field leaders and networking events, with concentrations ranging from artistic direction and casting to marketing, producing, literary management, and technical direction. Two fellows are selected per season in overlapping six-month cycles; housing is not provided.
