Timber Lake Playhouse in Mount Carroll, IL hires 13 emerging performers each summer for its Resident Acting Company, known as the Lakers, who are contracted for three to five musical productions and guaranteed at least one featured role. Members earn $350 per week with campus housing, two meals a day and a travel stipend, and also perform in pre-show cabarets and marketing events. Casting is through a January-February college audition tour and virtual submissions of headshot, resume, song video and dance reel, with a February 27, 2026 deadline for the 2026 season.
18+, must sing and dance (musical-heavy season); 13 actors selected; each guaranteed at least one featured role.
