Overview
The Page 73 Writers Group gathers a cohort of roughly eight playwrights who meet twice a month at the Page 73 offices in Brooklyn to share new pages and discuss their work with peers and with Page 73's artistic director and associate artistic director. Every member receives a $3,000 stipend, and the group is meant to open doors to the wider New York theater community. Members are selected through Page 73's single annual application alongside the Playwriting Fellowship and Workshops; the 2026 group includes Abigail C. Onwunali, Alexa Derman, Benjamin Benne and JuCoby Johnson.
Eligibility
Early-career playwrights without a NYC professional production; NYC-based meetings; same application as Fellowship.
