Overview

New Victory LabWorks is the New Victory Theater's artist development residency for New York-based makers of work for young audiences, hosted by New 42; the 2026 residency was awarded to Flying Leap Productions. The LabWorks application page now redirects to a general artist-submissions page, which invites companies to send an artistic statement, full-length video, photos, technical requirements and company history to the programming department for consideration in future seasons. Prospective LabWorks applicants should verify the next cycle directly with New Victory.

Eligibility

Primary residence in NYC; identify as a Person of Color; 18+; work intended for family audiences at any development stage; attend monthly meetings in Manhattan.
