The Many Voices Mentorship is a one-year Playwrights' Center program for Minnesota-based Black, Indigenous and other artists of color who are new to playwriting but show artistic potential. Mentees receive a $2,000 stipend, $850 in development funds, and free access to more than $3,000 in services including a staged reading with professional actors, multi-week classes, one-night seminars and a two-year Center membership; they become Affiliated Writers at the end of the term. Applicants must live within 75 miles of the Twin Cities during the mentorship year and must not have had any professionally produced plays; the 2026-27 deadline was December 4, 2025.
