Milwaukee Rep's Arts Management Emerging Professional Residency is a pilot, customizable residency that prepares theatre makers for careers in arts administration by giving them hands-on experience across departments such as Company Management, General Management, and Human Resources at a large LORT theatre that produces 12-plus shows a season. The resident primarily works office hours (9am-5:30pm) with occasional nights and weekends and no on-call requirement, and like all EPRs receives a weekly untaxed stipend, housing with a private bedroom, transportation, a relocation stipend, professional development workshops, and mentorship. Information on the 2027/28 residency is expected in fall 2026; past applications required a resume, letter of recommendation, cover letter, and two references.
