The Lab Cycle is Dance Lab New York's core paid residency for choreographers, structured as a process-over-product incubator with no obligation to produce a finished piece. Each choreographer receives a salary, a company of professional dancers, studio space, a rehearsal director, administrative support and digital assets, with several cohorts selected per year across winter, spring, summer and fall cycles. Alumni include Andy Blankenbuehler, Camille A. Brown and Lorin Latarro; applications are accepted through the Lab Cycle application page.
Choreographers at any stage; process-over-product model with no requirement to produce finished work.

Dance Lab New York (DLNY), the unique artist-centered and artist-led choreography incubator founded by Broadway veteran and choreographer Josh Prince, celebrates the launch of its 10th anniversary season with eight different Lab Cycles this fall, providing a launching pad to 21 choreographers.
Several years ago, Dance Lab New York pioneered its Broadway Choreography Intensive – a unique intensive for early-career choreographers to train specifically in theatrical choreography.
