New Jersey Theatre Alliance's Career Accelerator Program is a six-month paid fellowship (January through June) that develops emerging theatre leaders, with a focus on professionals from historically underrepresented communities. Fellows complete three two-month placements rotating between professional member theatres (recent hosts include McCarter Theatre Center, Jersey City Theater Center, and Vanguard Theater) and the Alliance itself, gaining practical training in theatre administration and management alongside professional development seminars and mentorship. Fellows receive paid work experience plus travel and living stipends; the 2026 cohort of three was chosen from more than 30 applicants.
