JESSICA LANG DANCE Comes To Walton Arts Center Next Month

The one-night event Jessica Lang DANCE will happen at the Walton Arts Center on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m.

Creating and performing the work of celebrated choreographer Jessica Lang - renowned for her visionary scenic collaborations with designers and artists, and her genre-bending contemporary ballet style - this New York City-based dance company's compositions resist categorical definition.

A complete universe is conceived in each dance, distinctive in its look and mood, sound and atmosphere. Lang has an architect's eye, not just in terms of the structures she builds with moving bodies, but through her use of light, objects and scenic elements.
