Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre Presents Two Public Performances Of MISS ELECTRICITY

Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) offers two public performances of Miss Electricity on Saturday, March 2 at 5pm and Sunday, March 3 at 2pm at The Stage at Island Park.

Miss Electricity is a hilarious, family-friendly story about Violet, a ten-year-old determined to show the world, not to mention the cool kids at school, just how special she is. With the help of her assistant Freddy, she sets out to break a world record, but becomes accidentally extraordinary when she's struck by lightning -- twice -- and gains control over all things electric. Under the name Miss Electricity, Violet zaps her way through circuits, bullies, and tests, but could lose everything when the power goes to her head.

Miss Electricity is FMCT's 2019 Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) production. With humorous, action-filled content catered specifically to school-aged children, audiences will be charmed by this story about friendship and the unique trials of the fifth grade. The show will also be seen by over 1,500 students from around the region in a series of daytime matinees. This delightful production features a cast of four, and is directed by Lara Moll, a Concordia College senior studying theatre and communications.
