Preparation
Please prepare two contrasting 32-bar musical selections and bring sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. Have an audition music book available in case they want to hear something else. Bring headshot and resume.

Breakdown

Alma Stossel – female 30s to 40s, soprano with belt, mother who is no-nonsense, practical, warm and nurturing.

Peter Stossel - male 30s to 40s, baritone, father who is a ship’s captain driven with a passion. Romantic with a good sense of humor.

Karl Stossel - male 15 years-old, tenor, bright eager ships mate.

Rudy – male 20s, tenor

Oskar – male 30s to 60s, character, crusty sailor.

Steve – male 20s-30s, baritone

Hans – male bass

Enid - female 20s to 30s, alto
