SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in COLD WAR CHOIR PRACTICE.

• Meek: Black, 18+ to play 10 year old girl. Curious, imaginative, deeply observant. Daughter of Smooch, granddaughter of Puddin.
• Smooch: Black, 30s, owner of the Roll-a-Rama. Warm, charismatic, practical.
• Puddin: Black, 60s, mother of Smooch and Clay. Community embodied, nurturing, grounded.
• Clay: Black, late 30s - early 40s, Smooch’s brother, ambitious, polished, works for the Reagan administration.
• Virgie: White, late 30s - early 40s, Clay’s wife, struggling to free herself from a cult.
• Choir Director: female, white, directs and plays piano for the three person choir.
• Choir #1: female, white, alto, also plays a cult member.
• Choir #2: female, white, mezzo soprano, also plays a Russian spy.
• Choir #3: female, white, soprano, also plays a Russian friend of Meek.
