Destiny (Des) is a self-assured artist, who left her London hometown years ago under unclear circumstances. Polished and successful on the surface, she carries a deeper complexity and an underlying sense of something unresolved. She shares a close, emotionally rich bond with DRE (“Dream”), her confidant and co-lead, rooted in a shared past. Articulate and direct, Des commands attention - but there’s a lingering sense of absence that makes her both captivating and hard to fully understand.

DRE (OFFSTAGE UNDERSTUDY)

Black or Mixed Race with black heritage, Male Identifying, 25–35yrs,
Dre speaks with a London (UK) accent. The accent is Multicultural London English (MLE). Accent reference example:

NOTE: This is an offstage understudy role
Dream (or Dre) is a confident and charismatic individual. His charm is infectious to Des, and his quick wit and brilliant comic timing are on point. Dre’s banter is rapid-fire and sharp, always ready with a clever remark. He has a special connection with Des. He owns a restaurant in London, something he has always wanted to do since he was young. Dre's complicated past begins to surface.
