PREPARATION
Come prepared with a memorized, one-minute comedic Shakespeare monologue. Be sure to put your own spin/stamp on it. VSF productions have a lot of audience interaction - as they would in Shakespeare’s day. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.

MEASURE FOR MEASURE
“Measure for Measure” set in the 1920's. Think Shakespeare goes Chicago. All genders, races, and LGBTQ+ actors are encouraged to audition. Those auditioning should be familiar with the plays of Shakespeare and should be comfortable with improvisation, music, physical contact, and audience interaction.
