For the Musical Days, please prepare a brief contemporary Broadway or pop song that shows off range and personality. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. For Dramatic Day, please prepare a brief comic monologue.
All days: Please bring a picture and resume, stapled back-to-back.
All dates below are in 2011. Theatre states: “As a Resident Stock Theatre, we look to hire a company of actors to appear in as many consecutive productions as possible. Musicals and non-musicals will need to share many of the same actors.” All roles are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted) unless otherwise specified.

Mrs. Tottendale:
40s-60s. The air-headed hostess of the wedding. G3 - Db5 (alto).
Underling:
40s-60s. Mrs. Tottendale's savvy butler. Ab2 - G4 (tenor).
Robert Martin:
20s-30s. The dashing, ever-cheerful groom. C3 - Ab4 (tenor).
George:
20s-30s. Robert's anxious best man. F3 - Bb4 (tenor).
Feldzieg:
40s-50s. Broadway producer. Db3 - Db4 (baritenor).
Kitty:
20s. Feldzieg's dim-witted companion. Bb3 - F5 (soprano).
Two Gangsters:
30s-40s. Posing as pastry chefs. Db3 - Gb4 (tenor).
Aldolpho:
European, 40s-50s. “Ladies man”. A#2 - G4 (bass/baritone + great falsetto).
Janet van de Graaff:
20s-30s. The famous bride. G3 - Eb (alto).
Trix:

The title role is cast.

30s. University professor. Affable and intelligent, with an underlying need for control. Jan’s husband.
Jan:
20s-30s. Charming and slightly naïve. Brought to a remote farmhouse to convalesce following a recent nervous breakdown. Greg’s wife.
George:
50s-60s. Farmer.
Laura:
20s-30s. Strikingly attractive, vivacious and headstrong. Greg’s sister.

Bernard:
30s. Energetic, flirtatious and charming bachelor. Completely satisfied with his situation.
Robert:
30s. School friend of Bernard’s. Naïve about the romantic side of life.
Gabriella:
Italian, 20s-30s. Sentimental, lusty flight attendant. Smart and suspicious.
Gloria:
20s-30s, from the Southern USA. Take-charge, cheerleader-type flight attendant.
Gretchen:
German, 20s-30s. Dominating, militant flight attendant. Madly romantic “valkyrie”.
The role of Bertha is cast.

Missy:
20s. Overachiever/smartest of the group, always in control. Belt/mix to high F, full belt to D, legit soprano to high B. Low: F.
Betty Jean:
20s. The slightly put-upon class clown, a tomboy, always vying for attention. Alto w/strong low range. Belt/mix to E, legit soprano. Low: F.
Suzy:
20s. Best friends with Missy. Happy-go-lucky one of the group. Mezzo alto, both simple and soul voice, belt mix to E. Low: F.
