[JANE]
(F) late-20s to mid-30s, Kind, idealistic, diffident. Always tries to do the right thing. Authentically good-hearted. Strong language skills. Actors of all ethnicities strongly encouraged to submit.

[DARCY]
(M) 30s to early-40s. Too proper for his own good; awkward in most social contexts. Prides himself on self-control and good judgment. Strong comedic timing and language skills, with depth of sincerity and vulnerability. Actors of all ethnicities strongly encouraged to submit.

[CHARLOTTE/MR. BENNET]
(F) any age. Practical, good humored. Also doubles as MR. BENNET. Strong comedic timing and language skills, with character range. Actors of all ethnicities strongly encouraged to submit.

STORYLINE:
Kate Hamill’s wild adaptation of Austen’s classic love story is anything but plain Jane. To save the family estate, the Bennet sisters are in a flurry to find suitable men to marry—except Lizzy who’d rather risk the family fortunes than force a second date. This madcap romance is filled with clever seductions, awkward escapes, and perhaps just enough luck to win at this wicked game called love.
