Seeking
Male and Female Actors who sing and move/dance well. Please see Breakdown. **Please note,
GOLDEN BOY will be cast as originally concieved with a racially diverse company.

Preparation
Please prepare 32 bars from one song appropriate to the season. Prepare a second full song in
the event you are asked to sing twice. Traditional music theatre selection 1920-1965 preferred.
No pop/rock please. Bring sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided. Bring
headshot & resume.

-Dr. Detmold, The fussy, gray-haired doctor of The Cookie Jar. A very busy man
and a bit of a snob
-Fay, The pretty, young nurse at The Cookie Jar. She falls in love with Hapgood.
Meticulous, practical. Range: G3 - D5
-Hapgood, Though he parades around as a doctor, Hapgood is the newest
patient at The Cookie Jar. He is wild, whimsical, and charming. Range: G3 - E5
